T.A.D. undertook an option appraisal and feasibility study for a project to create a PCDU and a Short Stay Assessment Ward within an existing vacant facility on the general hospital site.
Following the completion of the appraisal T.A.D. have been commissioned to undertake the design of the PCDU only, with the SSAW on hold. The project involves internal alterations and refurbishment to a full anti-ligature standard throughout the new unit. The works also include the provision of a new entrance route to the new Unit and associated external works.
