TAD were commissioned through the North of England Commerical Procurement Collaborative Framework (NOECPC) to provide a full multi-disciplinary team, including; Architect, Structural Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Project Management and Principal Designer Services.
The Project proposed the conversion of one of the existing residential bungalows, containing sleeping accommodation, on the site into "day" accommodation that would facilitate Service Users reintegration into the community.
The refurbishment project primarily focussed on the replacement of all windows, doors, floor finishes, fittings and building services. However the scope of the project development to include some structural alterations to facilitate the new uses and improved access to the roof void for maintenance.
Anti-ligature design and specification was provided throughout the new building.
The project is due to start on site in the Spring of 2020.
