The Trust want to expand and relocate the entire Ophthalmology Service into one building. TAD have been engaged through the NHS SBS framework to develop a number of options and look at the feasbility of their proposals alongside developing the scope and brief for the project.
Whilst initially the project focussed on providing the relocated Outpatients Department over one floor, this has expanded to 2 floors as the brief and scope has been refined. Further feasibility studies have been udnertaken on relocating the Operating Theatres for the department to other floors in the building.
and have undertaken a feasibility study with consideration of some high level options. A preferred option has now been agreed with proposed layouts and a high level scope of works to relocate Ophthalmology to the first floor of Beckett Wing on the St. James' Hospital site.
