Architects have always had a tremendous scope and ability to affect peoples'
lives whether through masterplanning or an iconic building by Wren or the very personal
design of your home. However today this has an added dimension in the form (shape)
of the environmental context, and our mission statement reflects our efforts, however
large or small, to make the world we all live in a better place, and through sustainable
design, for longer.
T.A.D. Architects now has a broad portfolio of clients and schemes
ranging from our traditional public sector health experience to a growing education
portfolio and a varied collection of projects for other government agencies.
Across the private sector we undertake health, private and social housing work
as well as more commercial activities such as refurbishments of offices, restaurants and bars.
Across this range of clients and projects we offer a wide range of services covering most
conceivable duties. On building projects we can provide:
-
a full brief writing service, whether this is a full brief for the public sector,
Tenants Requirements for D & B projects or clarifying a homeowner's needs, priorities
and value for money.
-
we have staff who can carry out the Project Manager role for the whole project if required.
-
we have a qualified Access Consultant for DDA Audits and advice on all issues to do with accessibility.
-
a contractual specialist
-
a team of Clerks of Works to monitor quality of work on site, both building and services aspects.
-
and last, but not least, designers who are fully conversant with all aspects of design and with sustainability issues to take your ideas from inception to completion.
As well as operating nationwide as far a field as London, Plymouth, Belfast and Edinburgh we
also have strategic partnerships in key locations including a subsidiary office on the Isle
of Man, a formal tie up with Whittaker and Watt Architects in Northern Ireland and preferred
consultants for structural, mechanical and electrical and quantity surveying services.
