Architects have always had a tremendous scope and ability to affect peoples’ lives whether through masterplanning or an iconic building, or the very personal design of your home.  However today this has an added dimension in the form (shape) of the environmental context, and our mission statement reflects our efforts, however large or small, to make the world we all live in a better place, and through sustainable design, to ensure it lasts.

We strongly believe that a building must work practically, deliver for our clients a place where they can work, live or play efficiently.  We are not image driven architects with pre-conceived ideas for projects, we work together with our clients to deliver buildings that yes, work practically, but also have a piece of coherent architecture that embodies the clients’ and users’ aspirations from the founding concept to the finished details.

We strive to challenge assumptions and convention to ensure innovation when introduced is done at the right time, for the right reasons and in the best interest of our clients.  Our track record in the industry shows our approach is one of a considered and method drawn approach to complete a wide range of projects on time and on budget.

Client Advice and Brief Development

T.A.D. offer a full brief writing service, whether this is a full brief for the public sector, Tenants Requirements for D&B projects or clarifying a homeowner’s needs, priorities and value for money.

TAD can also provide technical advice for public sector clients involved in a wide range of procurements routes such as LIFT, PFI and BSF.

Clerk of Works

T.A.D. has always offered this service to monitor the quality of work on site and provide peace of mind for clients.  We can provide both building and services Clerk of Works.

We have expanded this role to now include the contractual duties of a Supervisor under the NEC form of contract and have done so on a number of P21/P21+ schemes.

Access Consultant

We have a qualified Access Consultant for DDA Audits and advice on all issues to do with accessibility.

Project and Contract Management

Acting as Lead Consultant in traditional procurement routes T.A.D. have always delivered project management duties for our Clients.  Changing procurement and legislation has now developed this into a distinct role which we offer to Clients to deliver their projects for them from start to finish.

T.A.D. have experience in this area on a wide variety of projects and procurement routes that includes partnering collaborative working and most forms of contract such as JCT and NEC.

Should cost advice be required we have a number of specialist consultants who we work with regularly that can either provide this service directly or as part of our service.

Building Surveying

An extension of our architecture and Clerk of Works services, we offer a wide range of surveying services including; condition surveys; environmental improvements; maintenance programmes; disabled adaptation works and Home Dialysis installations.
