Fitzwilliam Street Health Centre

The project entailed the design and construction of a new health centre on the outskirts of a city centre in Yorkshire. The Health Centre was to include a large GP Practice (10nr Consulting Rooms), Minor Injuries Suite, Treatment Rooms (2nr), 2nr Surgery Dental Surgery, Pharmacy, Communal waiting areas, office and admin areas.

The scheme was designed over 2-3 storeys with parking at a lower ground floor level, due to the sloping nature of the site. A contemporary design and approach was taken to rteflect the urban location, but the design was woprked up from first principals maximising adjacencies of rooms and shared use and functions of rooms wherever possible.
